    2. 1 tablespoon black pepper
    3. 1 small piece of ginger 
    4. Honey (optional)

    How To Prepare:

    1. Grind tulsi leaves, black pepper and ginger together in a bowl.
    2. Boil the mixture in a cup of water.
    3. Add a spoon of honey if required for kids above 1 year.

      1. Cinnamon: two small sticks
      2. Cloves: three pods
      3. Honey: ½ tsp
      4. Water: two cups

      How to Prepare:

      1. Take water in a deep pan.
      2. Add crushed cinnamon and cloves to it.
      3. Let the water boil for a few minutes.
      4. Strain the liquid and add honey if required.

        1. Fennel seeds:1/2 tsp
        2. Ginger:1/2 inch
        3. Cloves: 5 pods
        4. Tulsi leaves: 4-5
        5. Honey: ½ tsp
        6. Water: two cups

        How to prepare:

        1. Take water in a saucepan.
        2. Add fennel seeds, cloves, crushed ginger and tulsi leaves.
        3. Bring the water to a boil and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
        4. Strain the blend, add honey, and serve.


        1. Make sure that all the spices are added in the prescribed amount.
        2. Excess of any ingredient can cause heartburn, nausea and burning sensation in the food pipe.
        3. It is best to consume a freshly prepared kadha to extract maximum benefit from it and avoid storing the kadha for long.
