How to pick the right short set

Start with fabric weight. Light cotton (140-180 GSM) sits softer on the skin and breathes harder. Good for May to September, work-from-home days, and anyone who runs warm. Mid-weight cotton (200-240 GSM) holds shape better, drapes cleaner, and looks more intentional outside the house. Most of our line sits in the 200-240 band. Soft enough to sleep in, structured enough to step out in.

Next, fit. A short set is two pieces meant to read as one outfit, so the proportions matter more than they would on a single tee. The top should sit slightly past the shorts' waistband. Never tucked. The shorts hit mid-thigh: short enough to be a short, long enough to not feel like sleepwear. If you're between sizes, our blocks lean to the relaxed side of regular fit, so size down one if you want a snugger silhouette.

Sizing — what S to 6XL actually means here

Indian D2C size charts drift a lot. Ours don't. Every product page lists exact body-circumference ranges (chest, waist, hip) plus garment measurements (chest width, length, sleeve, short length). If you've ever bought XL on one site and found it fit like an L on another, the trick is to measure a t-shirt you already love, lay it flat, and compare against ours. We err on the slightly roomier side across the chest and shoulders. Most reviews say "true to size, generous through the body."

The 4XL, 5XL, and 6XL aren't scaled-up versions of M. They're separately patterned, with the shoulder slope, bicep width, and torso-to-waist taper all redrawn. That's why a 6XL drapes the same way a M does, instead of looking boxy through the chest or riding up at the hem.

Styling

A coordinated set is the easy mode of getting dressed: matched once, wearable forever. The pieces also separate cleanly. Solid co-ord shorts go with any plain tee and white sneakers for a quick out-the-door look. The printed sets work best as a unit, with minimal accessories: a watch, sunglasses, slides. Skip jackets over the printed tops; the print does the talking.

For travel, cotton sets pack flat, don't crease badly, and double as pyjamas without a second thought. We've heard from buyers who took a single set on a 4-day weekend trip and rotated it through three occasions.

Care that keeps the print sharp

Cotton co-ords last longer when you treat them like cotton. First wash in cold water, inside-out, with a mild detergent. Skip the dryer if you can. Air-drying flat keeps the shoulder line clean and the print bright. Iron on the reverse side, low heat, and never directly on a printed area. Most of our cotton holds its shape through 30+ washes when cared for this way.
